"...its true meaning only gradually appears in a masterful narration that soon turns surprisingly dark."

"Too dark, perhaps, for some readers, as this is not a novella for the squeamish."

"Even though the story starts with a killing, its true meaning only gradually appears in a masterful narration that soon turns surprisingly dark."

Joe Coffin Season One Episode One (A Vampire Suspense and Gory Horror Series: Episode 1 Book 0)

". . .delivers gore, scares, pathos, and even some laughs in a bloody bundle that is much greater than the sum of its parts."

-David Dubrow, Gingernuts of Horror

"This was genuinely the best read I've had in a long time and I cannot wait for more from Joe Coffin!"

-Alli, Amazon review.

Get ready. Joe Coffin is on his way. And he's mad as hell.

Joe Coffin is fresh out of jail, but going straight is the last thing on his mind. The sickos who murdered his wife and child are still out there, and he's going to get revenge.

The problem is, Joe Coffin is in much deeper than he realises, and his wife might not be as dead as he believes.

Violent, gory, profane and explicit, Joe Coffin is for mature readers only.

Interview with the author:

Q - So, what makes the Joe Coffin series special?

A - A few different things, really. I love vampires but I'm not interested in the sparkly romantic types crowding the bookshelves at the moment. In writing Joe Coffin I wanted to go back to the idea that a vampire novel should be full of gory horror, and that the vampires would be nasty and almost indestructible. But I also love British crime movies, and I thought why not pit my vampires against a British gang and throw in a gutsy female journalist as well, with a sprinkling of humour amongst the brutal action.

So yes, the Joe Coffin books are a mix of genres. The other thing to bear in mind is that they are written in episodic format, much like a TV series. That way they remain tightly plotted and fast paced.

Overall, the Joe Coffin series is written to keep you turning the pages - and I've made sure there's never a dull moment.

Q - What's with this Season One in the title?

A - Again, it's the TV series format. I love Netflix and Amazon Video, and I binge watch my TV shows now, instead of how I used to watch them, one episode a week. I wanted to reflect that idea in the books, and I hope you will want to binge read all four episodes in each season of Joe Coffin.

Q - What order should I read the books in?

A - You need to start with Season One and work your way through. If you don't start at the beginning you won't have a clue what's happening in the later books, as the story is tightly tied in together and progresses as you read on.

Q - So, why should readers give these books a try?

A - If you like modern horror, or vampire novels, I think you will like this series of books. Even if you're on the fence about the horror aspect, but enjoy violent crime fiction, I think you may well love these books. And they are lightning fast, with smart dialogue and great characters, and a hero you will love in mob henchman Joe Coffin.

Thanks for reading!

Months later, with no one to trust and the pedophiles he lives among growing suspicious of his actions, he learns nothing is simple where the monsters live.

The Child of Mystery (Chains of Darkness Book 1)

The clock is ticking, and time is running out...NOT ALL THINGS BOUND IN CHAINS SHOULD BE FREEDTime for Melinda is fast running out. Time for her to make her escape. And time to make a daring rescue.

From the Publisher that brought you popular short story series Witching Call, Hostile Hearts, Earthbound Angels, The January Morrison Files Psychic Series, Ralph's Gift, Children of Time, Chains of Darkness, Tropical Storms and Friend Zone...

The only thing fifteen-year-old Melinda has been thinking about ever since she found out that she was betrothed to a man twice her age was how to escape the madness of the cult she had been trapped in. But escape seems easier said than done, especially since Melinda is being kept under the watchful eyes of her Uncle, an Aunt who never seems to sleep, and the Elders.

Melinda has the unique ability to see things no one can, like Angels and, once one Halloween, a demon. Her power also allows her to see a boy named Caleb, who isn't really a boy but has the fading aura of an Angel, get captured by the Elders. Kept in chains and tortured, Caleb's agonizing cries are a constant reminder of why she must get as far away from the cult as she can. She must escape, and soon, but not without trying to rescue Caleb.

Does Melinda have the power to not only save herself, but to save Caleb? And if she can save him, has she saved an angel... or a demon?

EXCERPT"What's with the angel, anyway?" Gabe asks, watching her as she smooths the jagged fringe of her hair.

"You can see them, too?" That's the other reason she likes him so much. When she told him that she could see them, he didn't automatically say that she was crazy, like so many other people did. He merely nodded, and listened. He didn't believe her, not then. But he does now.

"No, but I kinda assumed, after what happened last night," he says, leaving the sentence unfinished. He leaves the bathroom . She keeps snipping, concentrating on keeping her hand steady.

"Um, Melinda?"

"Yeah?"

"Where is he?"

She feels a lump form in her throat, and fights back a wave of nausea as she goes to confirm what she's inexplicably terrified about: the bed where Caleb was curled up on is empty. The silvery aura, the wall of flames--she doesn't exactly believe in being able to see the future, but right now, she has a very bad feeling that something terrible is going to happen.

The author on the Ordo Lupus and the Blood Moon Prophecy series:

My own family's roots, uncovered over ten years, had led me to one Guillaume; a Chevalier (Knight) in 13th Century Languedoc, France; my earliest ancestor. Simultaneously, I had pursued a theological interest in the Cathars, first through reading a number of books about the Knights Templar and Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Codeand later, an interest in Monsegur and the Rennes-le-Chateau, near where the lost treasure of the Cathars is said to be hidden.

Around the same time I was starting this work, my interest in the paranormal became focused around reincarnation and lycanthropy (werewolves and vampires). I have always loved old Hammer Horror films and particularly the work of Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. I have also always been interested in luck, and the constant battle between good and evil, light and dark, and yin and yang; who isn't? My own luck seems to run in phases of waves; periods of days or even weeks of good luck, followed by periods of very bad luck. I decided that my main character, as well as being physically imperfect, must have some kind of rare interaction with luck and the forces of good and evil.

From there, I developed the idea that luck might have something to do with the effect of the battle between good and evil: that in fact both Satan and God might both have one hand on the tiller of luck.

I knew the main character would be flawed physically and yet have strange psychic powers but only when I wrote a scene in a graveyard, Highgate Cemetery, did I know that he would also become a Secret Agent and later an amateur sleuth.

Yet another theme is Witchcraft. I have long been interested in the influence of Gurdjieff and Mdm. Blavatsky on modern western ideas. I also make frequent references to the Malleus Maleficarum - the witch-hunter's bible - and wicca, particularly Gardnerian wicca.

The final theme I wanted to get into my novel was the Gothic. The themes of murder, werewolves, vampires, blood, death, eroticism, sex and the paranormal are all things that I like in a novel. My influences are Kate Bush, The Mission, Lord Byron, John Keats (The Eve of St. Agnes is a particularly favourite poem of mine) and, to some extent, Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
